Senthil started ME Threads with the sole purpose of providing an easy-to-use, quick and simple way to generate detailed dimensional and metrology data for a buttress thread.
Senthil began development on ME Threads while he was working on his PhD at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada. He completed his PhD in 2014, and was on an Academy of Finland (FAI) post-doc fellowship at Keele University in England in the summer of 2015. During this time, he had the opportunity to meet several Canadian technical professors. His work with them and his experiences in Canada have served as the inspiration for ME Threads. ME Threads is Senthil’s first product.
